RETAIL ASSOCIATES- vicki lee’s bakeshop, cafe, catering company is now seeking part-time/full-time retail associates for our busy bakeshop/cafe. Weekend availability is required.  We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality who genuinely likes interacting with customers. Seeking someone who is able to make at least a 1-year commitment and is willing to learn our systems. Previous retail/cafe experience is a plus but we would be willing to train the right candidate. Great environment for culinary students, externship, or an after school job.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Barista work
  • General bakery duties

FOOD PREP/LINE COOK  – Now hiring PT cooks who love food and want to learn. Seeking hardworking, dependable , motivated individuals capable of executing both hot and cold dishes per the direction of executive chef. Our shop is a chic 30 seat cafe that offers breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch dishes. Candidates should possess a passion for flavor, creating high quality products with locally sourced ingredients. A flexible schedule with weekend availability is necessary for this position as well as 1 year previous experience which can include internships/ externships depending on the right candidate. Culinary students seeking an internship/externship are also welcome to apply.  Roughly 25 hours per week, day only, no evenings! Excellent starting pay commensurate with experience, including health insurance, paid vacation, consecutive days off, and open book management training.

PASTRY CHEF  –  Now has an immediate opening for a FT pastry chef. Our ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience in a scratch kitchen / bakery and will have been in a lead managerial position for at least 1 year. Must be able to follow our tested recipes, as well as be creative to develop new products seasonally. Our business has grown tremendously over the years and we have become a go to destination for all things food and pastry. We have a growing catering business, we do corporate catering and our restaurant is open 7 days a week serving breakfast, lunch and brunch. We have a retail following selling cakes, pastries, coffee and prepared foods. Seeking someone who can multi task, give direction, encourage others, be a production wizard and super organized. Great opportunity for someone looking to transition to days only. This position is Tuesday – Saturday roughly 7-5 with some flexibility. We welcome good references, If your old employers loved you, we probably will too!

Seeking those with a desire to grow and willing to make a long-term commitment. Excellent starting salary, including health insurance, paid vacation, and consecutive days off. This is a daytime position only.

SERVER We are looking for a full time server for our busy bakery, cafe and catering company. Monday through Friday roughly 9:00 am – 4:00 pm with some flexibility. We offer full service lunch daily 11:30 am – 2:30 pm and a popular Sunday brunch from 9:00 – 2:30. Extensive food knowledgeable applicants only! Excellent pay and tips.
